The association-school Dansandalo directed by Jazmin Bastos, was born in 2008 in Barcelona with the aim of creating an educational space, research and dissemination of oriental dance, Arabian culture and its current relationship in the Western world, under both an academic and an artistic perspective.
With headquarters in Barcelona, Dansandalo received during its first 11 years hundreds of students and a large number of teachers from different artistic disciplines to accompany the training of all the members of the association-school and expand its educational mission.
Promoting cultural events in Catalonia, Dansandolo creates shows and welcomes numerous professionals to collaborate (conferences, training, shows, charity events, etc.).
Since 2017, Dansandalo continues to function as an educational and cultural center through different digital and online platforms, continuing with its mission of association-school, training future professionals related to dance and the performing arts.

Flores de Jazmin
The oriental dance choreographic group Flores de Jazmin was born in Barcelona in 2014 under the direction of Jazmin Bastos. It is made up of 7 women from different backgrounds, social and professional fields, who understand the art of dance as a form of personal and collective expression with the driving element of sharing and enjoying each meeting.
With the aim to deepen the choreographic and group work, Flores de Jazmin has performed in various stages and festivities such as the AfroCaña festival, Raval festivals, Carmel festivals, solidarity childhood festival, Gracia festivals, La Merce and other events. They are proud to have won the first prize (with the public as a jury) at the Sawera dance festival for two consecutive years.
Flores de Jazmin presents a varied repertoire of choreographies, being faithful to their tradition in technique, staging and costumes, seeking to represent part of the Arabian culture in the most authentic way. In their choreographies we find dances with finger cymbals (zills) , silk fans, veils and canes, making their show a musical and visual journey for the viewer.
